The Garrettsville Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, July 11 ,2024 at 6:00 PM prior to the scheduled Planning Commission meeting. The hearing will be in the Council Chambers, 8213 High Street, Garrettsville, Ohio, 44231.
The purpose of this public hearing is as follows:
To consider an application for a variance submitted by Nick West, EIT, Prism Engineering, 2309 Watterson Trail, Suite 200, Louisville, KY 40299 relating to the property at 8283 Windham St, Garrettsville, Ohio 44231 in the Village of Garrettsville, located in Garrettsville’s C-2 Heavy Commercial Zoning District. Village of Garrettsville Zoning Code 1179.03 [C] establishes a minimum rear yard setback of 50 feet. The applicant requests a variance from this requirement and proposes a setback of 44.2 ft to allow building placement requested by the Planning Commission, while providing parking circulation and separation from the existing storm sewer box culvert located at the site.
